Fayemi Wins Ekiti APC Governorship Primary

KAYODE Fayemi, the minister of mines and steel development, has won the Ekiti state governorship primary of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

This means Mr Fayemi is the flag bearer of the APC in the July 14 gubernatorial election scheduled to hold in the state.

Fayemi, a former governor of the state, scored 941 votes out of 2,326 cast by the delegates. His closest rival and former governor of the state Chief Segun Oni got 454 votes.
