THE impeded former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Babachir Lawal, has been reportedly released on administrative bail by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
He was reportedly released on Friday evening.
The anti-graft agency detained Lawal after the latter honoured an invitation extended to him by the commission.
He is accused of using his company Rholavision Engineering Ltd to corner a N200 million contract for the clearing of “evasive plant species’’ in Yobe State.
The News Agency of Nigeria which broke the news of his release said its source declined further comments on details of Lawal’s release.
